I live in central Florida and enjoy traveling and exploring with my Canon 7D. I also enjoy working with Photoshop to make adjustments from small enhancements to experimenting with multiple effects sometimes resulting in images that are very different than the original raw image.

MarkChinn3 weeks agoI just noticed the camera information. I don't know where that came from. VER ???? f1.0 ??? Wow that's a REALLY fast lens!!! Especially when the max aperture is f3.5. -

MarkChinn3 weeks agoIt really is a great place to explore. I will post a few more photos from the same area. It is near the Blue Ridge Mountain Parkway where there are many many waterfalls and mountains and beautiful scenery.

MarkChinn3 weeks agoThank you very much Alex for comment and share. I only captured a small portion of the rock on the left. It goes on to the left and rises up 3 to 4 times the height seen in this photo. I've been to this location twice but have not found a good way to capture the water and the enormous rock wall.

MarkChinn3 weeks agoThanks Kenneth. Wow! You are right. It really would be a great spot to shoot a model. But you must be careful. Some of the rocks are wet and very slick. I fell twice on my butt and once of those times was on top of my camera. WE both survived amazingly, because I was sure I wrecked my camera when I head a crunching sound, but it came though with only a few nicks on the body. It functions perfectly. I survived with only a huge ugly bruise and hurt pride. I know your models are fearless so it shouldn't be a problem. :-))

MarkChinn3 weeks agoI use UCM (Unintentional Camera Movement) on many of my photos, but the results are very poor. ;-) I really like the ICM technique but it doesn't always work out so well. This one worked out great. Really really love it Les. Agree with Mike. It should be on the wall.

1 month agoVery good job, even though most of the photo is completely in focus, I can easily still tell what the subject is. That is not an easy task when dealing with trees. -

MarkChinn3 weeks agoThanks so much Les. The tree roots are what caught my eye and then I looked for a perspective to shoot from. I used a bean bag instead of a tripod. Worked great for getting so close to the ground.

MarkChinn1 month agoAmazing the intense brilliant color that nature can show this time of year. Unfortunately not in Florida :-( Love the shot with the green in the background really makes the red stand out. Nicely composed.

1 month agoThank you very much. I found it a lot of fun to shoot that series. I am finding with macro there are a lot of opportunities for photos. I got interested in macros from seeing the photos of others on ClickASnap - two of them are "bluedog photo. J.R. McClellan" and "Brett Hondow". -
