Re: Can we use your photos?

Tom,
Feel free to use any of my pictures in promoting CAS

Being here on a free account, I consider that to be my contribution. :)

Another way of looking at it indeed.

Re: Random photos - could we / should we?

Not sure about this ... we can already "surf" by following the thumbnails. I think there would need to be some sort of quality control. Is there quality control on the thumbnails? I suppose you mean the "related images" at the right-hand side of the photo? I think this is purely based on keywords, ...

Re: Paid views

(+- 72% vs +- 40%) Does the site have new traffic (new users) who just quickly slide the pictures or has the latest update something to ...

Re: Website compresses photos

I think dpi doesn't count, if you upload photo to the internet. Indeed, dpi (or ppi) only counts for printing. A digital image only has a number of pixels (eg 2000 x 3000). When going for print the ppi can be calculated and will depend on the printsize. As long as the image is digital the dpi or pp...

Re: Latest

Caching the "Latest" section is a little awkward, no?
When I click on Latest I would expect to see what has just been uploaded (like in the Feed).

Just my 2ct...

Re: Bug or suspicious images?

I completely agree with hpbirkeland actually. A promoted image is paid for to appear X times on top to get more views on the image and hopefully to take the viewer to the owners profile and thus to attract more views on other pictures and perhaps new followers of the profile. Imho that does not mean...

Re: Which of your images has the most views?

For me the leading image is not so clear, at this moment it's this one :
San Gian church
but that one has not the most "paid views" nor the most likes.
Some of my images are really close regarding the views so the result could be differnt tomorrow. :)
