https://www.clickasnap.com/i/wwut7bvhsttlfsl5 for all the planning and effort it took. Researching the time when the moon was in the right position, getting there, taking a whole lot of exposures, then combining four of them and editing the final result.
Then this: https://www.clickasnap.com/i/rlve23jb13vzz60s for a beautiful result that came out of pure luck and coincidence because I turned around at the right time, took one shot and that was it. And to top it off, almost no editing afterwords.
But I am going off track, here are three I have chosen in no particular order:
https://www.clickasnap.com/i/kud24hhla076a24s being around as nature was showing it's cruel side, but this little one tried it's best...
https://www.clickasnap.com/i/b9ruhtlw058oy5l8 not the sharpest photo, but shows the beauty of nature.
https://www.clickasnap.com/i/pbf7nx7ug1mj0b1t first photo I ever posted anywhere...start of my downward spiral wow almost a year since I took up photography!!
Anyway think I gone on long enough and posted too many...oops

Right I'm going...honest
Cunningham's answer to the question may seem like a flippant response. But in a sense it reveals the optimism which motivates us as photographers to make our next beautiful image.
But here are three personal favorites from my portfolio. I welcome your comments.
This is a picture of ukuleles that a vendor was selling at a neighborhood festival.
I was attracted to the repeating shapes and brilliant colors.
I have a fondness for abstractions found in everyday items. I think it succeeds because our first reaction is to the shapes and colors. But if we look at it for a little while, the identity of the subject is revealed.
I'm essentially a street photographer. I take pleasure in finding situations we all see, and showing them in contexts we filter out due to our busy routines. This image is of a store display. The lighting and reflections make the mannequin's legs look like they are emerging from the bricks of the building in the reflection. It has elements of eroticism and surrealism that appealed to me.
This is a picture of shadows and reflections in a store window that I saw while working on the street. It has a surreal quality that appealed to me.
I'm looking forward to making my next favorite.
My second all-time favorite.

My third favorite mainly as I took it before I really got interested in photography.
