Kicking things off with a macro of an eye

I've seen these kinds of photos done and always fancied having a go myself. When I got my new extension tubes last year I took my chance. Made hubby sit still, no special equipment (apart from the tubes), took several shots and was pleased to have one in focus!

I think seeing the structure of the iris so close up makes it look so much more mysterious. I am going to try some more shots like this soon I think.
