This browser issue is a pain. From one week to the next I don't know if the site will load correctly or not. For various reasons I will not entertain Chrome or Microsoft browsers, is it really that hard to make the site compliant with some of the most popular browsers such as Firefox and Opera?

It's not hard but at about £10,000 per browser or so it is expensive and being a startup we have tight resources and have to cater to the largest demographics prior to catering for the smaller ones I am afraid

I find Opera ok for the most part, the only times it slows down is with a few ads which cause everything to freeze for about 5 seconds other than that it's as quick as a hiccup, regarding firefox......best not go there for a good experience.

What's up with Firefiox? I use it & it seems ok to me. Or am I missing something?

firefox works fine for me, but it will depend on monitor size, MAC/PC and a whole range of other variables

http://acid3.acidtests.org/
That link should render identical to the reference image and score 100/100.
Out of Chrome, Firefox and Opera, only Opera passed.

About Acid3: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acid3

All that has nothing to do with CAS but if you want a browser that works everywhere, use Opera.

I usually have all 3 open and rarely see site differences these days.

Hmm, that's odd ... did this test with the latest version of IE 11 and it passed with 100/100, the image looked exactly like it should but on ClickASnap it shows no photos 8=(
I mean i see the avatars, i see the ads and the image on the top front side but no photos and, honestly, that's only on CAS ... so i installed Firefox and everything worked fine except ... every now and then Firefox freezes the whole system (Win 7 64 bit) so i have to do a complete restart
Any advice?

Use Google chrome, that's the only browser we optimise for currently. It may work with other browsers but we cannot guarantee performance or that features will work as expected by design
