Copy/paste this code to a html file on your site.

Code: Select all

<a href="https://www.clickasnap.com" target="_blank"><img src="https://www.clickasnap.com/assets/themes/clickasnap/images/logo-dark.png" title="Clickasnap is brilliant" /></a>
The bouncy Beta is a separate entity so wouldn't copy :)

How does being able to edit a website prove identity? Anyone can register a free account on wordpress.com, webs.com or any other number of hosting platforms. Voila, one website, on which they can put any content they like.

Do you perhaps mean "put a link on a website corresponding to a domain which you have paid for"? If the domain was bought through a privacy service to keep your details out of the whois record, does it still count?

If anything, I'd have thought a facebook profile provides stronger assurances of identity for most people, most of the time. If it didn't, political micro advertising wouldn't work!

(For the record, I do not have a facebook profile and I know how to create a website under my own domain with proper hosting, so I'm asking because I think there's a flawed assumption at work rather than because I'm miffed that facebook isn't good enough)

That reminds me I still haven't done the copy-link thing... Well, weekends are getting sunny so less time on the laptop...

Anyway, just wondering, what would be the benefit of having a verified account?... I understand it's a way for Clickasnap to confirm there's a real person behind the account name, but who cares?

Verified ticks tend to give accounts greater credibility with members of the public, look at twitter verfied accounts for example

Outside of that there isn't really any massive advantage to them, but they're free

Tom,
Well, I have emailed you and you answered and plus I have my credit card on paypal to pay for my subscription here on CAS. I'm verified by Paypal so that should be good enough. Why can't a Pro Seller be verified that way? I would think that anyone who puts goes through Paypal could be verified plus ya'll do an automated draft for my subscription so that should qualify. And I've bought five of Mike Brown's ecourses so that should be good enough right? Plus Melissa has answered a ton of questions for me and Mike has answered questions for me too.
