Why isn't there a mobile app for Android or for iPhone yet?

I've been wondering as to why you don't have a mobile app yet? Is there a mobile app in the making? If yes can you give us some details?

Why do we need an app? The site is completely mobile friendly and most people looking for photos are not going to download an app just to view them

I totally agree. The site works great on a phone with a browser.

Don't need an app as the site works perfectly on a mobile browser.

I 100% agree that an app is needed!

I only have an account with ClickASnap because of the potential to make revenue off my photography. I really like ClickASnap but THIS generation will not conform to the customs of us who are content with "web browsers". I believe that having a mobile app will increase my revenue AS WELL AS EVERY ONE ELSES. I think that a mobile app will help ClickASnap sky rocket. I am in America, and unfortunately not many have heard of this website... or would take the time to browse or upload because of the "web browsers" layout.

CLICK A SNAP!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!!! Create a mobile app!

Needed with following reason

1. App is one of the way to promote the business.
Platform will be judged by how many devices it supports rather than being on mercy of browser feature
2. Speed & efficiency - app will be faster then browser for sure. User experience can be optimised (can pre-load imagine for all links etc)
3. Native mobile device experience - can integrate notification etc so, you don't need to keep browser open to attend someone's comment

1) No, the way websites can be built now means that it should work correctly in any browser. Even if a site was browser dependent having an app wouldn’t help desktop dependent users
2) all of this can be done in browser.
3) most people turn push notifications off so there is littler value in this
4) ad revenue for mobile apps is 10% of browser revenue. This means views made within a mobile app would have a significantly lower value than those made via a browser
5) as a photo sharing and selling platform, most of our visitors will not download an app merely to view a photo they found via google or social media links

An app will happen in time, but it is not a top priority

Additionally, the ability to appreciate a quality photograph would be rather limited by the small(ish) screen of a phone. Fine for Instagram and other rubbish social media snaps perhaps.
