What is your budget and how large do you want to print?

A3 max would be ideal because of storage space and budget around 400

I have a Canon Pixma A3+ that I'm quite happy with, my camera club got a huge Epson that produces amazing results, but the cost of that monster...
If mine broke down now I'd probably get another Canon; the PIXMA iP8750. That should be well within your budget and the size of it when folded neatly isn't too bad.

Should absolutely be a better printer, but a bit larger in size and cost :-)

I'm looking at this too, and was looking at the Canon pro 10s, which uses pigment inks like the more expensive larger format printers rather than dye inks,( I use a Epson 7800 at work which uses pigment inks but way too big for at home ) pigment inks are meant to have longer term fade resistance (smell less too i think lol ).

i've not decided yet, and heres few links i have looked at

So I went for the older canon 9500 MK2 in the end it is a 4 year old printer second hand in very good condition and more importantly is the forunner to the pro 10 without the extra chrome cartridge which I can live without. The print results are absolutely amazing and you will not go wrong, I could not tell from a gallery print and what this thing is producing 😁
