I'm wondering how many people on ClickASnap consider themselves to be a travel photographer?

Which travel images in your portfolio are you most proud of?

Have you made any sales on ClickASnap?

Do you sell your travel photography anywhere else?

Is the picture telling a thousand words, or does your story need illustrating?

Do you just share pictures, or do you like to write about the people and places you visit as well?

Hopefully your 'travel photography' isn't in Black and White.

Hello !

I do not consider myself a travel photographer but I just uploaded an album of ten pictures from my recent trip to a popular tourist destination.

I always do like to read a good description on the travel pictures I view. I agree the story adds to the viewing experience & my list of places to visit is growing steadily!!

And that popular tourist destination is..... Hobbiton, New Zealand.

I am about to go off on a "Destination Photography" expedition (one location, several weeks). Could not do "Travel", on account of being a bit allergic to it. However, if the destination proves to be a success ....

I'm intrigued.

Where's the destination?

Venice?

For several weeks?

Awesome.

I'm sure the setting will get you hooked on Destination Photography.

Look forward to seeing the results.

Photography is my hobby and most of my photos belong to the travel category. Does that qualify me as a travel photographer??!?

I do love to travel and for the last 2 years I've travel more and more often. My most often visit place outside of Canada is the coast of southern California, where you can see the sunset every day :-) i.e. more chances to try and get that beautiful golden hour.

I'm travelling with my wife and we really enjoy the travelling so far. Most of my photos are for sharing, although I would sell them if I can find a buyer :-)
I do make large prints out of those travel photos and it's really amazing to see your printed photo on your wall.

Favorite places for photos so far: cherry blossom in Washington DC, the Pacific Coast Highway from Los Angeles to San Francisco (should be on your bucket list!), Rome (really want to go back for some photos)
Future travel and possible destination: Fatima, Portugal; cherry & hysteria blossom in Japan; Rome....

A 'travel photographer' doesn't need to leave their home town, if they can produce images that make others want to visit.

Of course, it helps if their home town is a popular tourist destination.
