Question about LIKES on Photos.

If someone LIKES one (or several) of your photos, how does that benefit the user,
or does it benefit the user at all?

I've noticed that I have some people that LIKE my
photos, but never comment or share. I have other people that
just "rifle" through my shots in a nano-second with
LIKE ...LIKE ...LIKE ...LIKE ...LIKE ...LIKE ...LIKE ...LIKE ...LIKE ...
(I think you get the picture.)

Likes have exactly zero value. The concept was introduced by facebook to give users a serotonin boost so people would use the site. Ultimately facebook gives you likes, you give them money
