Why isn't there a mobile app for Android or for iPhone yet?

1) No, the way websites can be built now means that it should work correctly in any browser. Even if a site was browser dependent having an app wouldn’t help desktop dependent users
2) all of this can be done in browser.
3) most people turn push notifications off so there is littler value in this
4) ad revenue for mobile apps is 10% of browser revenue. This means views made within a mobile app would have a significantly lower value than those made via a browser
5) as a photo sharing and selling platform, most of our visitors will not download an app merely to view a photo they found via google or social media links

An app will happen in time, but it is not a top priority

May be the there is mid way, getting advantage for both the world. How about having app that just calls browser object. Not a native app. I think other platform are using this approach. Check picxy.com

Who is we? I don't need one. In fact I cannot understand how anyone can view a photo on any mobile device and appreciate it. Maybe an app will make it easier for fake views and click circles?
