Pixel dimensions for header profile page

Post by kenmcdougalphoto » Fri Oct 25, 2019 1:24 pm

Hey all,

I recently changed my header image on my profile photo to make it look
more centered and closer. Through playing around with the original shot
in Photoshop I discovered that the exact L x W Pixel dimensions for that
header space is 600 x 300 pixels. So if you need to improve where your
image sits within those parameters ...

1. Pull your photo into Photoshop (or whatever image software you use)
2. Select your crop tool
3. Crop you image to 600 (width) x 300 (height)
4. Place your image where you want
5. Save it as a new image .jpg file

Then go to your Profile, click on banner image (or space) grab your image and insert the new pic.

Hope this helps
Ken :D

Update: One thing I just noticed Tom. Concerning placing an image in the center of the header graphic space @ 600x300. When you are logged IN your account, it will look perfectly correct but when you log OUT of your account (the page that the public sees when they come to your Clickasnap website url page) the image shifts upward and is off. You must compensate for that inside your account when editing the image.

I just changed the design of my header to include a black banner at the top and added my digital signature. It took me more than a few tries to get it centered so that when my potential customers look at my page it looks right.

Here us the way my page looks now
