NGC_7822

One of the many beautiful nebulae in the Cassiopeia-Cepheus part of the sky, NGC 7822 is a mixture of incandescent gas and stardust. The bright star in the lower centre is about 100,000 times as luminous as our sun. Seven-minute subframes with narrowband filters, captured on 28 November 2019. Total of 7.5 hours of data.

      Thank you. I'm not entirely happy with this pic - you can see some 'rings' around some of the stars, an artefact due to the processing of the images, and I'll try to rework the pic some time. I need to study how to avoid these rings...
