    I reckon this balloon was put up for you specifically, never mind the Parisian atmosphere... You found the perfect angle and then you included those things pointing towards it and created a quirky title. Well done, Jim!

        De rien, M. Jim! The flipside of social media is that we have become consumers of photographs rather than students. I like to keep my viewing exposure at a level where I can still study the photos and appreciate finer and quirky details. An over-saturated/over-contrasted photo will only hold my attention for the obligatory split second, though... My code for expressing appreciation is that I "like/love/heart/star/favourite" a photo when I like it, but I will only comment to explain WHY I like it. I feel somewhat sorry for the more successful members/posters who have to acknowledge every "Great shot." comment. On the other hand, one should not need validation from others to appreciate one's own good work, but it is a nice fuzzy feeling nonetheless.
