Ocean liners sit empty anchored off Bournemouth on the South coast of England waiting / hoping for an end to Covid. Paul the skipper of Mudeford ferry is operating mini cruises to view these eerily silent giants. A great opportunity for photographers.
Choose your moment to shoot, watch where your boat is heading and pre-visualise how the ships will line up, check exposure, focus and other setting as you wait so you're ready, because the moment will pass quickly. I chose to take the 6.30am cruise so the sun would be rising behind the ghost ships. It wan't as spectacular as hoped for, but that's all part of photography.
