Bubble clouds

A storm rolled in. Taken near Jasper National Park, Canada. I used a circular polarizer to cut the glare off the waters surface and wanted to show the crystaI clear and very aqua colored water of this lake.

Beautiful, great reflections and an interesting and attractive foreground with that fantastic light to lead the viewer into the depths of the image.

Thank you very much, Dylan! The f/8 and wide angle lens really makes everything look sharp. After this late afternoon shot, I did not see any good clouds again for several days.

Thank you Mike! Do not make the mistake I made and go during peak summer season. There were no hostels, hotels, Airbnb or VRBO for any price! Had to stay an hour away in Hinton.

Thank you Kenneth! I googled this lake in Jasper National Park and looked at the other photos and I was not surprised that many people took pictures showing how clear the water is as well. Thank you again for sharing!

Thank you very much, Ruud! This area is run off from snow, ice and glaciers and this causes the color I am told.

Thank you, Mike! The bright green across the lake is a golf course and I had seen a bear run through the fairway and to the right of my frame was a tall pine tree with a Bald Eagle perched! A wonderful spot.

Wow! The colour of the water is incredible. Well done capturing it the way you have. The clouds add to the whole scene too.

Thank you Denise! This developed into a fast and furious storm. Blew down a tree across the main road and was "trapped" until two other guys showed up and we were able to move the tree and continue down the road.

Wow - wouldn't have guessed that coming from this! Goodness that would have been a little disconcerting for awhile.
