Euphorbia milii, the crown of thistles, Christ plant, or Christ thistle, is a types of blooming plant in the spurge family Euphorbiaceae, local to Madagascar. The species name celebrates Baron Milius, when Governor of Réunion, who acquainted the species with France in 1821.
