Thanks very much Dave, didn't need much processing - the sun and leaves did the vast majority of the work for me. I love it when that happens!

Thank you very much Joe. Cynically from the angle I was at, there was a limit on how much say I got in the composition :) I did my best though.

Like the way shallow depth of field is complimented by the light.

Thanks Gary, a combination of sun, clouds and other leaves did all the hard work there. I just had to figure out where to stand and when to click (and I still got that wrong a few times).

Lovely light again :) how do you like your Z6?

Thanks very much Michael. I love the Z6, even though about 80% of my photos really don't need its capability. Where it shines for me is (1) Low light (e.g. interiors) - full frame makes a huge difference here, and being able to see the "live view" in the viewfinder is something I'd really miss if I went back to DSLR (2) It's pretty forgiving of a wide dynamic range. Battery life isn't great but then I got a spare battery with it and I'm not a professional so don't spend a whole day photographing, I think for a pro the single card slot could be a problem (redundancy is always good if your livelihood depends on photos) but not a major worry for me as a hobby photographer. Phone connectivity and remote control work well, which is nice, and controls are easy to customise. It hasn't made me a better photographer, but that's my responsibility, not the camera's :) Also love in-body stabilisation - managed a sharp 1/4s exposure handheld at 50mm the day I got it and was playing around, which is way better than I expected to get away with. Eye AF seems pretty good to me as well. Is it better than an APS-C Fuji, or a Sony? No idea, I've never tried either. As mirrorless goes it's quite big (similar size to an APS-C DSLR), but to be honest given I have a 100-400 lens in the backpack and a tripod on the side the camera isn't the biggest contributor to the weight :) So yes, I like it, and I think Nikon users will take to it well. Would I advise a change of system to Nikon? Probably not, because I think to change system there has to be a very compelling argument about something this camera would do that you need to do and your existing system just cannot, and for most people that's a very rare situation.

Well, I used Nikon Cameras for a while from maybe 2010 to 2016. First a D3000, then D5100 and from 2013 a D800. I have waited a long time for Nikon to offer a mirrorless camera that can compete with Sony, Fuji or Olympus cameras. They didn't succeed and so after some consideration I switched to Fuji at the end of 2016. I have not regretted that so far. It was important for me not to carry around the heavy Nikon equipment anymore. Fuji offers me a comparable quality with much less weight. Instead of carrying over 2 kg (D800 + 24-70) I only carry 800 g (X-T2 + 18-55) and I can also use a smaller backpack. The picture quality is very good and I also like the handling of the cameras. But I still have the D800, I couldn't part with it :).

I started with a D5100 and the Z6 is like day to night compared with it - I bought a second hand D300s as a backup camera and preferred it to the D5100 (more focus points, and slightly easier handling for me). The Z mount lenses are nice (I love the kit lens on the Z6, but the primes are pretty nice too), but it is full frame and therefore the lenses are bigger and heavier. While I'm still young and fit that's not too bothersome (the 100-400 and tripod massively outweigh everything else so if I want to lighten my load I leave them behind, if I want a discreet little camera I use the Ricoh GRII, but I am tempted by the X100V, that may still be my fuji gateway drug).
