Surprise attack!

I was photographing a honey bee on the clerodendrum blooms when all of a sudden this green anole jumped into the frame attacking the bee. I jumped at first and then started clicking away. This was the best image. I thought the anole may be sorry he caught a bee and he let it go after a few seconds. What a nice surprise.

That's a pretty cool shot, something you almost never see. :)

Thanks Brett. The anole startled me when he attacked the bee, but I recovered quickly to get off a few exposures. I wish the green ones were more plentiful. I wonder if they're considered endangered due to the invasion of the brown ones. Thanks for looking and commenting.
