PaPa Bluebird

Male Bluebird peeking inside the house checking on his family. Both female and male are feeding and very watchful over their babies. I can feel them inches away from my head when I go out for a quick photo.

I actually have to stop when they get about 12 days old. They will fledge at 14-16 days and can fledge early if the door is opened too often. When they get big the nest is really full, they are packed in there!

Yeah, but it really good to hear you know all about them...how long to fledge etc. Shows you have watched and learnt from them in past, shows how much you really do care :)

I know you are, comes across in your pictures and descriptions. I wish others would be too, more people should embrace nature and not take so much for granted

He is watching you. His head is slightly turned on one side. It worries the little ones.
