This is what I really missed this year! Unfortunately I couldn’t ride a lot. I was constrained in a linear movement back and forth to my work. There weren’t any chapter rides or even rides with two or three friends.
As I was browsing my photo library, this picture I took in 2015 grabbed my attention. I was riding through Halkidiki, a summer destination in northern Greece. One of my stops was in an area where a famous open market takes place. The abandoned structures were ideal for taking pictures of my bike. I have had her since 2005 and I gave her a ‘face lift’ by adding new saddle bags and minor accessories such as paddle pads, handles etc for her ten year anniversary.
This is a Softail Springer Classic 2005 Harley Davidson, my Black Beauty!
I took this shot with my Canon EOS 50D and the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM. I’m not satisfied with the settings I used. I tried quite a lot in post prospecting using Adobe Lightroom Classic to bring the image to this version.
I wish 2021 we will get our freedom back! Until this nightmare is over, STAY SAFE!!!
