Rare Rainy Day in Paso Robles

I shot this from my front yard to document the fact that it actually rained.

Like the other comments, the light is lovely. I’m glad to see rain in Ca. TV was showing lots of forest fires there.

I hope I haven't been so busy on this site I didn't hear news of any new ones. We haven't had any big ones that threatened our neighborhood yet this year, though there was a small one caused by a car dragging its chain that got within half a mile that I could see from my front yard. Fortunately, there was no fuel near it or it could have moved into our park that's full of poison oak.

Beautiful lighting. At first I didn't see "after" the rain. I was thinking, "wow, even so bright during!" ; ). (as I sit listening to a downpour outside on the East coast...lol)

If it had been "during" I might have gotten a real rainbow.

I can't take credit for that. My creator put it there for me.

The sun is always brightest before it goes to bed -- just like me.

I love that it lives across the street from me and frames so many of my sunset photos.
