The best thing in clickasnap.com is that while you admire the work of others you get inspired and try to represent some wonderful technics you see. This is one example. I usually buy a bouquet of flowers from the local florist to decorate my office and I use it as subject for my indoors shooting. I use two speed lites pointing from different directions in most of my indoor images, but not in this one. In this case I wanted to recreate something I saw in B&W. But I found the contradiction of the colours amazing, so I kept it coloured.
My gear was my Canon 6D with my Canon EF 24-700mm f/2.8L USM on a tripod. My settings 1/5 sec at f 16 with ISO 100.
In post processing I had to correct and boost the colours a bit using Lightroom. I always try to spot and clean any dust from the sensor or small particles that become visible in 100% view using Photoshop.
I ‘m glad you enjoyed it.
