Nuthatch

An afternoon well spent at Gosforth Park Nature Reserve, mostly at the feeding station. Lot's of activity from the smaller species and great to be able to get so close.

Few of these around today and always good to see, but very quick and flighty usually.

Thank you Butch, most of my recent photos are from a hide on my local reserve that doesn't get used as much as it should. It is a woodland feeding station, but feed is usually only put out during the tougher winter months to help the small birds
