Window of Opportunity. I use a weather app called “Clear Outside” to help predict photo opportunities. We’d had sleet and freezing temperatures for a couple of days with snow on the high ground above 1000’ but this little app told me that there would be about an hour of clear skies around dawn the next morning. I set my alarm and when I woke up, I checked outside: it was windy and sleeting. The app still said clear skies around dawn so off I went having made it clear to the app that if it was wrong it’d be recycled, I even took it with me rather than let it go back to bed. Anyway, it was right, and I got a window of opportunity.
