Look at that beautiful light sneaking through a gap in the clouds onto the pods! That’s what was attractive. The harder part was how to get rid of the mess of people, trees, lamp posts etc that surrounds it.
Personally I love negative space because it kinda puts things into perspective. The London Eye is pretty big in human terms, but isn’t even a spec compared to the sky and weather, so I made just a bit of it where the light was nicest - small.
