Lonesome joe

A man minding his own business. Sitting quietly with detailed stone work and metal in the wood were quite attractive. He did not mind me and even managed a little smile while I crouched down and composed my picture. I didn’t want him looking at me so I pointed to my left just before I snapped the shot and he looked over there. Even when I’m not taking pictures, I have a funny/strange habit when people look at me, and I don’t want them looking at me I point somewhere and as they look where I pointed, I make my escape. Always makes me laugh :)

Lovely door way and I love the way it matches the gentleman's outfit....I hope he had a good few coins by the end of the day.

Thank you, Kerry! I recall he did have some coins in his hat and he was one of the few that did not ask for more.

Beautiful picture. The tones are lovely and the colors don't clash with each other, so not going for b/w is a plus.

Super photo Joe, well captured I love that hat against the darkness and the sense of scale of the man and the doorway.

Thank you very much, Jezprime! As we were talking before, I used the spot removal tool to remove many white spots to the left of his hat on the door jamb I guess where people touch and nicked the paint. I thought it looked distracting :)

A good shout. I really should use spot removal or clone and stamp more than I do, I guess :)

Thank you, Elenka. He does look sad and probably too many thoughts in his head.
