About 18 months ago the Antiques Roadshow came to Wrest Park and this is a crew filming one of the individual pieces that are dotted into the programme.
The main presenters have a large working area fenced off with lighting, a boom camera and several other cameras to cover many angles. This crew had no such luxuries and seemed to be mobile within the main public area. They were filming a painting on an easel with its owner and an expert giving their opinion.
The items I took were not long lost paintings by a famous artist so my visit was not life-changing! However, it was certainly interesting.
