There is a moral to this photo, which is ... if you are ever walking along the ridge towards Corfe Castle in the early hours of the morning - be sure to be wearing a long lens. This had to be severely cropped from 85mm.

    Lovely image.

    I can understand the frustration that when you see a scene like this you just decided to leave that heavy long lens at home that day... or even worse, you took it with you but it's still in your backpack and by the time you have changed lenses the deer is of course long gone...

    I think all photographers know this frustration. ;-)
