Autumn Stroll

This is one of my father’s photographs, digitalised from a slide, taken in the 1960s but I’m not sure where? I have a few hundred of his shots that I’m gradually digitising, some are just family snapshots but some, like this one, are (IMO) good. I like the way the curve of the bank meets the curve of the bridge and its shadow.

I was going to give you credit for a nice composition and using the bridge as a frame, but then read it's your father's image. It's vey nice and good like you say. I think looking at your pictures his talent has been passed onto you too.

Dad was a keen amateur photography and he did have decent kit for the time. In fact, I've uploaded a shot of one of his camera to this site but it is person that makes the shot.
