Kobba Klintar

Kobba Klintar is a small island ten kilometres of the coast of Mariehamn. Some of the ships I work on sail past here each day and during the winter the place creeps me out. Probably because of the statues that are placed on the otherwise deserted rocks that are battered by the rough seas. The old pilots house is also home to Scandinavia's oldest foghorn. In the summer it's possible to take a boat trip there and the horn goes off each day around 1pm.
