Windmill

This is not actually a photograph, well it is otherwise I couldn’t upload it, but what I mean is that it’s a photograph of one of my grandfather’s watercolours that he did during his time at Art College in Leeds in 1911. I’ve got several of his water colours and drawings all dated 1911: I’m not sure why he didn’t carry on painting after that? However, he did paint adverts for the cinema in Malton for the latest films. Sadly, I don’t think any of those survive as my grandmother disposed of most of his things after he died.

Thanks. It's a shame that more of his work didn't survive. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, I like it. I've made a copy to hang on my wall but the original has hung on a wall at my parents' house for as long as I can remember.
