Is this is a different place than Valley of Fire in Nevada??

Yes. It's in southern NM northeast of White Sands NP. I would love to visit the one in Nevada. Someday maybe.

I have been to Valley of Fire in Nevada several times as my son and his wife live in Vegas. I really need to go again but now too damn HOT plus the whole Covid 19 thing :(

Great shot - I love volcanic landscapes and it is always amazing how nature takes hold in the most inhospitable places.
