Chimneys of a smokehouse on Bornholm, Demnark

Here we just have the four chimneys of the smokehouses in Hasle on the island Bornholm, Denmark. I found the contrast between the white chimneys and the clear blue sky very attractive. Turning this somewhat minimalistic shot into something almost abstract. Notice also how the sunlight is reflected from the left chimneys to the right ones’ left sides - facing away from the sun.

very nice tones-I always thought one needed a small aperture to get the sun burst effect. Well done!

Thank you! Yes, I thought the same - and sometimes I regret that the smallest aperture of my camera is actually 8 - But I was really surprised when I realised that I even used the widest aperture available - and yet I do not even know why. ;-)

Simple but the lines and colour pallet are great

Thank you, Marco. Of course I did several shots with the sun in different positions etc. - but I liked this one the best.
