Two Faced

Two Faced. I’ve been through some of my old images trying to find another tree to convert to black and white because I liked the previous one a lot and I came up with this one. I like minimalist images and I’m looking forward to the bad weather of snow and fog to try and get some more.

Love the stark look of this. I also like photos with lots of negative space. Was the sun really behind the tree, or is there a bit of editing going on here?

I'll tell you a secret but don't tell anyone: LR helped.

Another beautiful image, Howard! The negative space and monochrome works very well with your composition. Great light & silhouette! One thing missing though...Louie :)

Thanks. There is good news about Louis because he is my dog now so perhaps I should do an official portrait to celebrate?

Nice photo. Well, you are on the opposite side of my liking, I cannot wait for the good sunny weather to start so I can go out and take morning or afternoon photos. So cold and raining around here on Melbourne.

lol. I think bad weather helps to make more dramatic landscape photography.
