Weather conditions are not always by your side. During an extreme bright daylight I found this rose under the shadow of a cypress. Only few rays of the sun got through.
I grabbed my Canon 6D with Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM, set my aperture at f/5.6, ISO 100 and adjusted the speed at 1/640 sec, two stops underexposed. I did that because I did’t want to burn the highlights and limit the brightness of the background.
In post processing I used the Lens Corrections and adjusted the colours accordingly in Lightroom. There was a big dark green leaf at the left bottom of the image which I removed it using content aware in Photoshop.
