Copley Viaduct and the River Calder

The 23 arch Copley Viaduct passes over the River Calder, Calder & Hebble Navigation and A6026 Wakefield Road whilst crossing the Copley Valley. Opened in 1852 it became the first direct link between Sowerby Bridge and Halifax Railway Stations. www.colingreenphotography.co.uk
