Soldier's Memorial at West View Park, Halifax

Opened in 1896 on the site of a quarry, West View Park is a public area in the Highroad Well area of Halifax, West Yorkshire. The Soldier's Memorial is dedicated to the 73 men who dies in the South African and Boer Wars of the late Victorian era. It was unveiled in 1904.
