The Halifax Bank was headquartered above and behind the commercial street branch from March 1921 until they moved to the new site at Trinity Road in September 1974. Sadly in 2022 the Lloyds banking group made the decision to close this branch of the Halifax despite it's historical importance to the bank. www.colingreenphotography.co.uk
