Tony Smith4 years agoHi Tom. I use a Canon EOS 70D and a 100-400 L Zoom lens. Mounted on a Skywatcher Star Adventurer tracking mount. I've I remember correctly, this was a stack of about 120 images at about 20 seconds each. Stacked in a free program called Deep Sky Stacker. I noticed while uploading this image, that there's no category for Astrophotography. Would this be something to concider for your new site when it goes live perhaps please?

4 years agoVery nice, i did mine with a 300mm lens on a takahashi Temma ii mount. Looking forward to seeing more of your images. And yes, we will be rolling out new category systems etc early next year in all liklihood -
