Funny how it feels like coming home when you grab the camera you have used the last 5 years, but not touched in a month since you bought a new camera. In the morning I finally got so frustrated with my new camera I decided to go back to the old camera and put the new one for sale. It really didn't meet my expectations, and fankly I don't understand why the Sony A7ii is so hyped for it's low noise pictures. My old trusty Canon 6D performs in my opinion a lot better.
Today I was out testing my new camera. The day was not that great. I took half the day off, hoping the clouds would let some sunlight through, but it didn't. Regardless of that, I drove the 40 minute trip to the location, took my gear and went for a walk. Only 15 minutes into the walk, my foot broke through thin ice in a pond, and the foot and half the leg was soaking wet.
Mostly landscapes, but other pictures might also sneak in. The Finnish archipelago is my natural habitat, as can be seen in most of my landscape pictures. Generally my pictures are taken with my Canon 6D or Sony A7ii, and the aerial pictures with a Canon EOS M mounted on a hexacopter drone or with a Phantom 4.
