Biography

At the time of writing this, I am a free roaming midlife crises, looking for somewhere to get into trouble, or someone to get into trouble.

I am in the fortunate position that I owe nothing, and own almost the same. My current plan is to. . . . . actually I don't have one right now as I am broke and living in Spain again. Guess I will have to rent my body to anyone that can make use of it. I am open to offers by the way!

If anyone reading this has some suggestions on where I should visit, I am open to all ideas. Ideally before my body decides to call it a day. Think that day is penciled in for a week next Tuesday!

I hope so. My excuse for that lapse is abnormal levels of boredom recently.

Really should start working again so that photography becomes a pleasure and not just something I do because I am bored.

Nicely done. These changes wouldn't bother me unless it was a journalistic or legal photo that was supposed to reflect what truly happened.

I prefer the After, mainly because of the messy top left-hand corner in the Before.

So for me, nuthin' to do with any fraud.

Sounds like most tourist traps. I always try to dress like a tramp in the hope of avoiding unwanted attention. Saying that, I always look like a scruffy oik, so it's not that much of a struggle for me to dress down.

I don't use photoshop or lightroom, just free editing software. However I have no problem with anyone who does. I think if you are not documenting an event as fact, everyone should be free to present their interpretation :)

Personally, I try to be honest and straightforward in everything I do because I believe that contributes to my well being, however, photography is an exception, anything goes. So for me, no absolution required. Keep up the good work.

Thanks muchly. This is a pretty extreme example of editing, I just felt that the original looked too much like a tourist shot, which of course I was. I guess that this comes more under the banner of art.

Thanks muchly. I always confess my Photoshop sins, unlike many others that I see around. Something that made me laugh out loud was that this won 2nd prize in Matt Granger's end of year photo contest. He commented that he liked the fact that it wasn't over edited! Laugh? I nearly coughed up a lung!!!

Flitting has come to a crashing halt. At the start of 2018, I spent about 3 months living & driving around Portugal, Spain, France & Italy in the van. Then after a short break, I went to Thailand where I had dreams of living full time. But I couldn't find a job I liked so I traveled to, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan, Taiwan & South Korea. When money got down to my emergency reserve I elected to return to Spain where I am currently living while I figure out a way of leaving again.

Are you now back online again? Will you be uploading some new photos?

The lines are constantly shifting my perspective for the teal/white building. The brain can't figure it out today. Really a fascinating effect and the tree/greenery just adds that final Dr. Suess touch. I like it.
