Closed Rishworth Branch Line Trackbed

I took this picture in January 2016 on a stretch of the closed Rishworth Branch Line between Triangle and Watson's Mill, Sowerby Bridge. The line ran up the Ryburn Valley from Sowerby Bridge to Rishworth passing through stations-halts at Watson's Mill Crossing, Triangle and Ripponden before closure in the 1950's. Many of the bridges still stand on the former trackbed and provide an interesting site along the former railway line now woodland. www.colingreenphotography.co.uk
