Grand Prince Hotel Takanawa Hotel - Japanese Garden

The Takanawa Japanese garden was built in 1971 when the former Takanawa Prince Hotel was newly built. The garden was designed by the late Teiji Kusuoka, who also worked on the new Imperial Palace.

Surrounded by the three hotels The Prince Sakura Tower Tokyo, Grand Prince Hotel Takanawa, and Grand Prince Hotel New Takanawa, the garden covers an area of ​​approximately 20,000 m2 and is dotted with flowers and ponds that change with the seasons, as well as historic and artistic sites. In 2021, the Kannon Hall, bell tower, and mountain gate were designated as tangible cultural properties designated by Minato Ward.
