Reduce your dependence on money, Stress is the number one mass murderer!

The houses we live in are poorly ventilated, recto-linear constructions that prevent air and indeed energy from adequately circulating; they shield us from fresh air, sunshine and distilled water, and ultimately cut us off from our connection to the natural world around us. And more fundamentally, some of us live in regions of the planet that we were not designed to inhabit.

The human body has a thin delicate skin, devoid of fur and so not conducive to a cold, wet or icy climate and, as such, the body has had to adapt with its attendant loss of vitality and lifespan. Unfortunately for most people, changing their environment is not an option, but if possible the ideal would be to move to a more remote area away from cities and towns, in a well ventilated dwelling in the midst of nature.

Also, spend more time out in nature, in sunshine, and directly connected with the earth and meditating in beautiful countryside. The health benefits of such a change of environment are incalculable. Mental Attitude Stress is the most prolific anonymous mass murderer the world has ever known.

All disease stems from a thought pattern and the result is an emergency chemical and hormonal release that we experience as an emotion, which places stress on the body. There are other sources of stress that only appear in the modern world, such as work worries, financial problems, fear of terrorism and anxiety.

The problem is that the body is not designed to cope with such persistent and chronic stress levels. In the corporate world stress is considered a good thing. For example, the ability to work under crushing levels of stress is a prized attribute on a successful C.V., but while this ability might get lots of widgets, it provides no benefits to the one under stress. Only illness, premature aging and dependence on stimulants is the result.

Sooner or later the fate of those under stress is "Burnout". Here are a few tips to avoid burnout: •Recognise and remove all sources of stress. Turn off the television. Reduce your dependence on money. Take up a hobby that you enjoy. •Spend time with friends and family and cultivate healthy relationships with them. •Adopt apositive mental attitude. •Set aside time for meditation. •Get plenty of sunshine, rest and relaxation.
