Plastic hanging from a tree on the Holloway Road, London

This is from my ongoing series of photographs re-imagining London as a wildwood. At the moment I am specifically looking at the Holloway Road, a major road in North London. It is at the beginning of the A1 and is a busy shopping street.
Holloway traditionally means a sunken road with trees growing on either side of it. This might not be the case for the Holloway Road but is the starting point for my project to view it as such.
This photograph shows some plastic wrapping caught up in the branches of a tree with, in the background, the uniform windows of an office block.
For me the image represents our relationship with the urban trees around us. They are in the background and ignored - to a certain extent they seem to get in the way. Our rubbish ends up disfiguring them and their backdrop is less than inspirational.
But in another way there is something about the trees. Often we see a dichotomy between town and country - manmade and nature - but really the two bleed together. It is this that I want to explore in this project. You can view more of the pictures at https://www.clickasnap.com/profile/stephen-taylor-photography/album/63868/the-holloway.
The other thing that made me photograph this image was the irony of the plastic bag hanging in the tree. It's obviously rubbish blown up there but in other places it could be seen as a votive offering, a celebration or a remembrance.
