I do like a good ruin!

After what remains of John Bunyan's chimney, the church at Ayot St Lawrence and a castle at the beginning of March I headed out to track down another one.

This is a chapel built in the 1880s. For a time it was also a school but now it stoods roofless under the trees and the sky. It has tucked away off the road at a place called Bedham near Pulborough, West Sussex in the south of England.

As with most isolated ruins there are stories of ghosts, these ones related to its time as a school.

It is certainly a haunting place especially on a winter's day as the sunlight filters through the trees.
