Born and raised in Houston, Alex Treistman brings a rare combination of institutional finance experience and entrepreneurial execution to his role as Managing Partner of Capital Markets at The Post Oak Group. A Vanderbilt University graduate with a degree in Economics, he cut his teeth analyzing public securities at the prestigious Fayez Sarofim & Co. before moving through commercial real estate, energy investment, and large-scale capital formation. He holds Series 63 and Series 79 securities licenses. As a co-founder of one of Houston's fastest-growing investment banks, Treistman now leads a capital markets practice spanning 12 countries and $82 billion in total transactions.
