Historic Copley Toll House and St Stephen's Lychgate, Halifax

A scenic autumn view looking across the site of the former Copley stone bridge in Halifax, West Yorkshire. This historic lane features the charming old Copley Toll House on the right and the stone lychgate leading to St Stephen’s Church on the left, framed by a dense canopy of trees.

The photograph was captured from the vantage point of the historic stone bridge that was tragically destroyed during the devastating 2015 Boxing Day floods. A peaceful reminder of Calderdale's rich heritage and changing landscape.
