Weathered Cross

Dominating an ancient seaside church yard sits a stone cross feeling as old as time. Inscription long gone, weathered by time through centuries of salt laden air and countless storms, coated thickly by decades of lichen standing as a constant guardian and witness to many souls in peril along this treacherous jagged rocky coastline. Many were saved but a few came to join the folks who's time had passed under the ever present gaze of this monolith.
